Week 1: House of Prayer

1. House of Prayer

In Matthew 21:13, Jesus came into the temple and rebuked them for reducing the house of God to a place of trading. He said to them, “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” The Church cannot depend on natural (earthly) skills, business models, and entertainment—we need God.

​

Many have started in the Spirit but ended up in the flesh (Galatians 3:3). The Lord wants us back in the house of prayer. Let’s unite, as God’s people, and gather together in the glorious house of God.

​

“Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer...for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56:7 (NKJV)

2. Heavenly Father​

​

• Is the Church a place of a) socializing with other believers, b) Christian entertainment, c) motivational speaking, or d) prayer?

​

• What does it mean to be a child of God?

​

PRAY: Father, we ask forgiveness where we reduced Your Church to fleshly works. We humbly approach Your throne. Help this nation to be a lighthouse of prayer. Amen

​

3. POWER UP

​

Prayer cannot just be a buzz word for Christians. God wants to see a radical generation rise that will pray, call on Him, and listen to Him. He is calling us to move into real, deep intimacy with Him.

​

We claim the nations for Jesus as we humble ourselves and pray. Let’s worship the Lord and call on Him.

​

A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers. John 4:23 (AMPC)

4. Pray For The World​

​

Set time aside and pray for God’s supernatural intervention in the nations.
